mrrgle mrrgle mrrgle

I am not going to tell you how many times I have frogged 3 rows and reknit them.
I will say that it would be nice if I learned how to count, and also how to remember what row I'm on. Oh, and while I'm at it, what day it is and what time I'm supposed to go to bed would be good... ;-)

Counting? We've supposed to count? Only joking...

I've been knitting a rather generic, straightforward top down sweater while riding in the RV and have frogged three times, lost track of my increases more than twice, had my stitch markers fly off my needles when we hit a pothole, found that the photocopy instructions of the cute Celtic knot that I was going to add to make it more interesting contained one page of an entirely different sweater, the chart and no key to explain what the symbols meant. Then I tried something else (from the one knitting book I brought along) which didn't work and involved me frogging back 12 rows and making such a mess of it I threw it across the RV and said bad words. How can something so simple be so hard? I offer up as an excuse the three cats and one small dog who all want to sit in my lap as we go lurching down the highway (the infrastructure of the US really needs attending to). I thought I would just whip this thing out while riding along smiling at the scenery. I am still not sure it will fit since I am between two sizes. Lordy, lordy, knitting is soooo relaxing... : - )

You're doing fine - it's a test of character (I think I scored a C-).
