Hallowe'en.

We had between 150 and 200 kids. Went through ten bags of candy and had to ransack my own Pop Rocks stash to finish up!

I tried to do some knitting, but we had so many visitors, with all the interruptions, I'll have to rip it all out. Somewhere in there I added a stitch. Oops.

It was worth it, though. I had a great time!

How pretty it all looks! I love your pumpkins! Knitting with lots of interruptions just does not work. Not a single trick or treater around here. The houses are too far apart so not enough payoff. They all go into town and cash in. The upside is that we don't have lots of candy around. Wait, is that a good thing?

We had 10... maybe 15 at the max for trick or treating... Must be fun to see so many in your area.

Hi Valerie,

Thanks for posting on my blog about Jim Sallis. I will definetely want to check with you on some stuff as I get into the article. Right now I'm gathering resources and am going to sit down and read his "Turner" series. I've read most of the Lew Griffin and the standalone novels, except for "Renderings." I recently read "Drive" and it was stunning.
