Why did I buy these?

I'm mystified. It's not that there's anything wrong with the yarn; it appears to be very nice cotton-acrylic chained yarn, in a pretty lime green color, approximately sport weight or a bit lighter ** EDITED TO ADD: sigh. only if you can't read. They say 19 st. per 4", which is worsted **. But there are only two skeins of it. It's not sock yarn. What did I think I was going to make with it? Did I mean to order 20 skeins, not 2, and just typo in the order box? Did I actually order more but they only had 2 left? I haven't the foggiest idea (and the cold medicines fuzzing up my brain are not helping).

I bought them ** EDITED TO ADD: I ordered these a week ago. So seriously, how can I not remember? **
at the same time as I bought a bunch of Addis, and this:

Now I know I said I wasn't going to buy any more sock yarn, and okay, I lied, but at least I do remember ordering these.

What can I do with just two skeins of Kim?

I have nothing else to show you. Either the cold or the cold medicine meant I did no knitting yesterday. And photos of me lying on the couch with my laptop just aren't that interesting ;-)

I think you should let us decide about the couch photo. : - ) Right now I'm waiting for that blasted mosquito to zoom across the screen so I can crush her. No photos of that - please!

I love the, did I really buy this? Why? When? Did I have plans for it?

Is your cold any better?

At least it's pretty to look at :)

Hope you feel better soon.

LOL on the green and your memory :-D.

I have a cute crochet pattern for a kids hat that might work for only two skeins. I will look and let you know.

I had a similar thing happen to me. Jay listened to the phone messages and came and told me that my yarn was ready. I don't remember ordering any yarn! It turns out it's a yarn I love that all my LYSs have stopped carrying, but one was able to special order some for me. I have no idea how much I might have ordered! I hope it was enough to make a sweater.

You can make a pair of Mini Toddler's Basketweave socks and send them to Dulaan. It calls for worsted weight and the pair I made took less than 48 hours. Just because they're cotton acrylic as opposed to wool doesn't mean some little girl wouldn't love them. =)

Here's the linkage in case you're interested.
