There is no knitting to show...

Fir Cone is over 50% done, but it still looks the same. Just longer. It's still sooooo beautiful. I'm hoping to manage to finish and block it this weekend, but that may be optimistic.

Since I don't have any good needle stuff to show, here's my cat Laila.

She's hard to get a photo of because mostly she likes to follow me around, so often the best I can do is pictures like this:

I also have a lot of photos where she rushed the camera and all you can really see is a lot of dark chocolate-colored fur, and maybe a blurry whisker....

OOOOOOH!!! She looks like SUCH a love!! I have a fluffy kitty too, but he is in denial of his fluff. He thinks he's a short hair cat. Actually he thinks he's Napoleon!! But that is another story!! I have the poor boy shaved in the summer. When your cat starts laying upside down in front of the air vents, he's trying to tell you something. He loves to be shaved, they even get the fluff between his toes so he's not slipping all over the house. His hair is getting long again, so he's been pretty grouchy for the past few days. Your girl looks very sweet!! She looks like she's purring in that bottom picture. How sweet.

Hi again.
I'm in Geelong , which is an hour south of Melbourne.
I came to your blog via April, who is my spoiler in the lace yarn swap, before she decided that she doesn't like lace knitting!
I'm glad that she'll be back in california soon so that you can all look after her.
hugs,
Lindy
